Doda: Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhaderwah Sunil Bhutyal chaired a meeting to discuss measures to streamline traffic and decongest the town. The meeting was held under the direction of Deputy Commissioner Harvinder Singh.
The meeting was attended by SDPO, Tehsildar, ARTO, DTI, EO MC Bhaderwah, Naib Tehsildars, SHO, and stakeholders from the transport and business communities.
Major decisions included the stern relocation of all buses and E-Rickshaws from Seri Bazar and Pasri Adda to the New Bus Stand, implementation of a Rotational Parking system and the identification of designated auto stands. The E-Rickshaw Association was directed to submit vehicle details to facilitate regulated rotation.
Directions were also issued to curb encroachments, identify parking zones, and ensure strict action against wrong parking along the Seri Bazar–Sartingal Road. The ARTO was asked to issue a formal notification, and conduct awareness drives to promote adherence to traffic rules.
