Samba/Kathua: Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) JKS Range, Shiv Kumar IPS, today conducted extensive tours, meeting with locals, jawans, and officers.
He was accompanied by SSP Samba Varinder Singh Manhas JKPS, SSP Kathua Shobit Saxena IPS, SP Operations Mukund IPS, and other senior police officials.
DIG Kumar’s visit focused on strengthening coordination among various security forces. He held interactions at several Border Police Posts and BSF posts, emphasizing the need for seamless cooperation to ensure effective border management and internal security.
During public meetings held in different villages, DIG Kumar appealed to the general public to actively participate in maintaining peace, brotherhood, and communal harmony by sharing information with the police. He reiterated the commitment of the Jammu and Kashmir Police to serving the community, assuring locals that “JK Police is always at their service” and “We Care for Them.”
The DIG concluded his address with a strong message of unity, urging everyone to “Join hands together to make our Armed Forces Strong and Country Strong. Jai Hind.” The initiative is seen as a crucial step towards building trust and ensuring the safety and well-being of residents in these sensitive border areas. (JKNS)
