Army Chief hails soldiers’ bravery and alertness in Operation Sindoor

Srinagar: Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi on Thursday commended the soldiers for their valour, energy and vigilant actions towards dominating the Line of Control during Operation Sindoor.

He said this while addressing the soldiers deployed along the LOC in Baramulla district of north Kashmir.

He also stressed the importance of maintaining a high level of operational preparedness, urging troops to stay ready to respond to any challenge with decisive force.

In a post on X, the Army’s ADGPI said General Dwivedi visited forward locations of the Dagger Division of Srinagar-based Chinar Corps and interacted with all ranks.

“Addressing the troops, he commended them for their valour, josh and vigilant actions towards dominating the Line of Control during OPERATION SINDOOR. He also lauded the role played by the troops in the destruction of terror camps in POJK,” the Army said.

The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) appreciated the role played by the Dagger Division in providing succour to the civilians subjected to dastardly trans Loc shelling by Pakistan.

The COAS emphasised the need for troops to remain ever prepared to respond to any challenge with decisive force, the Army said
