Anantnag: A man lost his life after being hit by a speeding vehicle in the Ashmuqam area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday.
Officials told news agency JKNS that the victim, identified as Ajaz Ahmad Khadim, a resident of Gumbo Ashmuqam, was hit by a fast-moving Duster vehicle on KP Road.
He was immediately rushed to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Seer, where doctors referred him to Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag. However, he succumbed to his injuries.
Cognizance of the incident has been taken and initiated further investigation. (JKNS)
