Kulgam: The body of a 23-year-old youth was recovered from Nallah Adbal in the Wattoo Aharbal area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday.
Officials told news agency JKNS that the deceased has been identified as 23-year-old Imtiaz Ahmad Magray, son of Nazir Ahmad Magray, a resident of Tangmarg. He was working as an labourer.
The body was recovered from the stream by locals, following which police were informed. A police team reached the spot and took custody of the body for medico-legal formalities.
Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation to ascertain the circumstances that led to the incident. (JKNS)
