Samba, Apr 25 (JKNS): A massive joint search operation was launched by the Army and police in the Veerpur area of Samba district following reports of suspicious movement late Thursday late night.
Official sources told the news agency JKNS that local residents alerted the police after spotting some unidentified individuals in the area. “Soon after receiving the input, security forces swung into action and cordoned off the area,” they said.
Searches were ongoing till last reports came in, and additional reinforcements had been deployed to assist in the operation. (JKNS)
