Srinagar, Apr 25 (JKNS): Two security personnel were injured during an exchange of fire with terrorists in the Kulnar area of Bandipora district on Friday morning.
Police sources told news agency JKNS that the forces had launched a search operation in the area following specific input about suspicious movement. “During the search, the hiding terrorists opened fire, that led to exchange of fire and which resulted in injuries to two personnel,” they said.
The injured personnel have been shifted to a medical facility, while a tight cordon remains in place. Searches are ongoing in the area. (JKNS)
