Youth Dies After Tavera Hits Motorcycle in Pattan

Srinagar: A 26-year-old youth died after a Tavera vehicle hit his motorcycle at Range Mode Pattan area of North Kashmir Baramulla district on Sunday.

An official told news agency JKNS that the deceased has been identified as Aaqib Ahmad Mir, son of Mohammad Shafi Mir, a resident of Watergam Kreeri.

He sustained critical injuries in the accident and was immediately rushed by locals to Trauma Hospital Pattan for treatment. However, doctors at the hospital declared him brought dead, official added.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated further investigation. (JKNS)
