DC Kupwara grieved over College bus accident; visits injured at GMC Handwara, ADC Handwara also visits injured students

Kupwara: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan on Saturday expressed deep sorrow over the unfortunate road accident of College Bus early morning on Saturday at Vodhpora Handwara that resulted in the death of two students and injury to several others.
Soon after the incident, the DC rushed to the GMC Handwara where injured persons were taken and are undergoing treatment. She monitored the situation and directed the hospital authorities to ensure proper treatment and care of the injured for their speedy recovery.
Ayushi expressed her deep sorrow over the incident and extended condolences with the bereaved families who lost their dear ones in the unfortunate accident.
Talking to media persons, the DC said that an investigation in the matter is going on and an FIR has been registered.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Handwara, Javed Naseem Masoodi also visited the road accident victims at District Hospital Handwara and took stock of the situation.
He interacted with the injured students and hospital staff and directed the hospital administration for best possible medical care for speedy recovery of the injured. He expressed deep regret over the incident and prayed for the recovery of the injured.
