Kisthwar:- The security forces are continuing search operations in the Chatroo area of Kishtwar district, Jammu and Kashmir, following an encounter with terrorists on Wednesday evening.
A top police offical confirmed to news agency JKNS that no fresh contact was established in the area with hiding terrorists while search operation is going on in the area.
He said the operation, which began based on specific intelligence inputs about terrorist movements, led to a gunfight when the search teams established contact with the terrorists in the dense forests of Chatroo on Wednesday.
He added that search operation is ongoing in the area.—(JKNS)
