Jammu : Divisional Commissioner Jammu and Chairman Jammu Smart City Ltd Ramesh Kumar on Thursday reviewed the progress of different projects being implemented by Jammu Smart City limited.
The meeting, attended by CEO and other officials of Jammu Smart City Ltd, besides functionaries of line departments, SSP traffic, discussed the physical and financial progress of each work.
The officials gave a detailed and comprehensive power point presentation on the physical and financial progress of projects for smart urban mobility, development of green spaces, beautification of market areas, junction Disaster management and IT initiatives.
The Div Com took appraisal of different aspects of development works including their quality, current status, operation and maintenance of completed projects. He directed the concerned executive agencies to complete the remaining works immediately and ensure full utilisation of funds designated for the projects.
The progress of the development of Tawi river front was also reviewed by the Divisional Commissioner.
The other projects assessed included Complete street development from Mubarak Mandi to Raghunath Bazar, Canal road to a Talab Tillo, Residency road, Library cum Cafeteria at Mubarak Mandi, Heritage conservation and development works, development of Gummat Bazaar, Oceanarium at Bag-e-Bahu, waste to wonder park, installation of Signage and wayfinding, landscaping of Maha Maya Temple complex and up-gradation of approach road, flooring and queue management system in Bahu fort Complex, development of rotaries, development of modern e-Bus stops besides other major projects.
