BARAMULLA: District Administration Baramulla in collaboration with the Employment Department today organized an interaction cum orientation program with YUVA Doots under Mission YUVA at Dak Bungalow Baramulla.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Raina presided over the session.
Speaking on the occasion, ADC Baramulla highlighted the important role of YUVA Doots in guiding and motivating potential entrepreneurs at the grassroots level.
He said that the identification of over 58,000 potential entrepreneurs during the baseline survey conducted in January 2025 reflects the district’s strong entrepreneurial spirit. He stressed that the YUVA Doots will act as key facilitators in linking these entrepreneurs with the necessary resources and support.
Dr. Raina further informed that one Single District Business Unit (SDBU) at the district level and six Block level Handholding and Development Support (BHDS) units at the sub-divisional level have been established to strengthen the institutional framework of Mission YUVA. He assured full support from the administration in ensuring the success of the initiative.
The session focused on engaging with the YUVA Doots.
A full-fledged training program will be conducted to equip them with the necessary skills to guide the identified entrepreneurs effectively.
