She stated that the three bills introduced by PDP aim to address crucial issues, including the regularization and recognition of property rights of residents on public land, the regularization of adhoc, daily wagers, need-based, and other temporary workers, and the prohibition of alcohol in Jammu and Kashmir.

The letter has also been sent to Leader of Opposition Sunil Sharma, Congress leader Ghulam Ahmad Mir, Sajad Lone, CPI(M) leader Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami, AIP’s Sheikh Khursheed, and other independent MLAs, seeking their support.

“These bills seek to address urgent concerns affecting the daily lives of our people and uphold their aspirations,” Mufti said in a letter.

Appealing for bipartisan support, Mufti urged political leaders to view these bills as a collective effort rather than a partisan initiative. She also assured PDP’s backing for any government measures aligning with these key issues.

“I look forward to your positive response and hope that we can move forward on these core issues together. Our political paths may differ, but the challenges faced by our people are shared, and so must be our resolve to address them,” Mufti wrote in her letter. (JKNS)
