An official told news agency JKNS that traffic movement has been restored on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, with passenger vehicles plying from both sides, while heavy motor vehicles (HMVs) will be allowed shortly.

Commuters have been advised to follow lane discipline, warning that overtaking could lead to congestion and action under the Motor Vehicles Act, official said.

However, the Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri (SSG) Road, Mughal Road, Sinthan Road, and Bhaderwah-Chamba Road remain closed amid fresh snowfall. (JKNS)
