KULGAM: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan today conducted an on-site visit of the under construction Brazloo Bridge to review the progress of work on the project. The bridge is a vital component of the NH-444 highway infrastructure project.
During the visit, the DC stressed the importance of completing the bridge within the stipulated timeline while maintaining high-quality standards of work.
DC was apprised that the Kulgam By-pass link measuring 9 kms from Pahloo to Lirow including 378-meter-long bridge at Brazloo is being constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 58 crore.
Concerned Executive Engineer informed that out of 13 pillers of the bridge 12 have been completed & the work on last one is in full swing.
He assured that the work on the bridge shall be completed within the given time line.
On the occasion, DC directed the concern Tehsildars to clear the bottle necks of approach road on both sides of the bridge.
