New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday hailed the security forces for neutralising 14 Naxalites in a joint operation along the Odisha-Chhattisgarh border, and said this is “another mighty blow to Naxalism.”

Taking to his social media handle X, Shah said, “Another mighty blow to Naxalism. Our security forces achieved major success towards building a Naxal-free Bharat. The CRPF, SoG Odisha, and Chhattisgarh Police neutralised 14 Naxalites in a joint operation along the Odisha-Chhattisgarh border. With our resolve for a Naxal-free India and the joint efforts of our security forces, Naxalism is breathing its last today.”

It may be mentioned that at least 14 Maoists were killed in a joint operation conducted by the Odisha and Chhattisgarh police, along with CRPF personnel, in the Kularighat Reserve Forest of Chhattisgarh, located just five km from the Nuapada district border in Odisha.
