Srinagar: A non-local lost his life in a fire incident inside the Army’s Badamibagh Cantonment in Srinagar, officials said on Saturday.
The blaze reportedly broke out during the intervening night of Friday and Saturday in a private canteen within the cantonment premises, claiming the life of Rajesh Kumar, a civil contractor hailing from Haryana.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the fire was triggered by a short circuit.
