Srinagar Police on Saturday launched helpline numbers for the public to provide information about drug dealers and peddlers, ensuring that the identity of informants will remain confidential.
In a statement issued here to news agency JKNS, Srinagar Police reiterated its commitment to eradicating the drug menace in the city. “We seek your support in making our neighborhoods safer and drug-free,” the statement reads.
Providing contact details, the statement added that citizens can call or WhatsApp on 9596770550 between 10:00 AM and 04:00 PM on all days.
“Your identity will remain confidential. Together, we can make a difference and protect our future generations,” it reads.
Srinagar Police urged residents to unite against drugs and contribute to building a healthier and safer society. (JKNS)
