Srinagar: President J&K National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah Thursday asked Women to emerge as pivotal agents of change in the upcoming Panchayat and Urban Local Body elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing a public meeting at Sodhi Resort, Barnoti District Kathua Dr. Farooq in his speech emphasized the importance of women stepping forward as key agents of change in the upcoming Panchayat and Urban Local Body elections in Jammu and Kashmir. “It is crucial for women to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our region through active participation in the democratic process. Our party has a legacy of prioritizing women’s empowerment, and we will continue this tradition with even greater resolve,” he said.
Highlighting the incredible contributions of Madr-e-Meharban, who played a pivotal role in the socio-political movement of Jammu and Kashmir and advocated for female literacy and empowerment of marginalized communities, Dr. Farooq emphasized that J&K National Conference has a proud history of supporting women, regardless of their background.
