Ganderbal 7th may : A high flow oxygen plant has been installed and made functional in district hospital Ganderbal in a record period of few days. Renowned social and political activist of Ganderbal Mohd Amin Shah has praised LG administration particularly the deputy commisioner of Ganderbal Krittika Jyotsna for taking innovative and out of box steps to strengthening the healthcare infrastructure in district ganderbal.
Shah has thanked the LG and other higher officials of distict and police dministration in helping people of district during these tiring circumstances. He said such steps will be be very beneficial for providing better facilities to patients in district itself and refferal of patients to tertiarry hospitals will be minimised.
Mohd Amin shah said that making District Hospital Ganderbal a covid hospital for time being is a wellcome step. He said covid patients of ganderbal district will now get better treatment. He however emphasised and urged upon district administration to provide all medical facilities in other health institutions like sub district hopital and primary health centres. He said concrete and serious steps shoud be taken to equip the heath institutions with latest equipments and required manpower.
Shah further said that health and other frontline workers particularly CMO Dr Mehraj ud din and Sofi Khursheed an asset in medical department Ganderbal are playing an unmatched role in combatting the corona virus and creating fruitful awareness among common masses.
Shah has simultaneously appealed people to observe covid protocol and guidelines in letter and spirit. He said cooperation between all departments and public is of utmost importance to stop the spread of covid in district Ganderbal. Shah has also prayed for the recovery of all covid patients admmitted in hospitals and those in home isolation.
