Beirut, Dec 16 (UNI) Explosions continue in Syria’s Tartus province after Israeli military strikes hit the strategic weapon depot early on Monday, Lebanese news agency Al Mayadeen reported.

The strike on Tartus has been described as the heaviest and the most violent attacks on Syria since the onset of Israeli operation, targeting air defense units and surface-to-surface missile depots, the news agency said, adding that the explosions were so intensive that they felt like an earthquake. Several civilians were reportedly killed and injured.
