It may be noted the children died in a massive fire that broke out in the Neonatal Intensive Care Ward of the Medical College Hospital late on Friday night.

Tight security arrangements were made at the postmortem house and no one was being allowed to enter into it.

According to the administration, three infants have not been identified yet. They are planning to conduct DNA tests of their bodies to identify them.

Meanwhile, the parents of the children admitted in the emergency ward of the medical college sat on a dharna outside and were demanding that they be reunited with their children. The hospital administration did not allow them to go inside due to security reasons but later they were allowed.
