SRINAGAR, NOVEMBER 07: Commissioner SMC, Dr. Owais Ahmed, today chaired a review meeting to evaluate the status of tenders for different developmental works of Srinagar Muncipal Corporation and Srinagar Smart City Limited.

During the meeting, Dr Owais emphasized on the critical importance of timely tendering to ensure efficient operations and adherence to project deadlines.

He underscored the need to address any delays quickly to facilitate the smooth progress of ongoing and upcoming initiatives.

The meeting was attended by the Joint Commissioner SMC, ACEO, SSCL, Joint Commissioner Works SMC, FA/CAO SMC, Chief Engineer SSCL, Executive Engineers from both SMC and SSCL, as well as the CFO, SSCL.

On the occasion, the officers briefed the meeting regarding their respective areas of responsibility & current status of tendering.

Dr. Owais urged the team of officers to collaborate effectively and prioritize the swift resolution of outstanding issues.

He emphasized to adopt a proactive approach is anticipation to expediting the tendering process and execution of ongoing developmental works of both SMC and SSCL.
