Srinagar, October 27 : Senior National Conference leader and MLA Bijbhera Bashir Ahmad Veeri has been released after being detained momentarily following recovery of two bullets from his luggage at Srinagar Airport.
A senior police officer told that Veeri was released after it came to fore that these bullets were from his licensed pistol by showing gun license and he had mistakenly carried into his luggage.
Earlier, Veeri was detained at airport after two bullets were found in his luggage at Airport. He was taken to police post Humhama for questioning.(GNS)
