POONCH, OCTOBER 19: District Development Commissioner Vikas Kundal today convened a review meeting here in the Conference Hall of the DC Office Complex to assess the implementation of employment generation schemes in the District.

 

At the outset, the DDC took a detailed review of the implementation of self-employment-generation schemes being implemented in the District.

 

The DDC took an extensive department wise review of cases sanctioned under different schemes, including Mumkin, Tejaswini, Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Program (PMEGP), DIC, KVIB, Credit card, PMSSY and other self-employment-oriented schemes.

 

The officers were asked to identify potential areas for employment generation and devise strategies to promote self-employment among the youth. Stress was laid on the importance of creating a supportive and enabling environment for entrepreneurship and job creation in the District.

 

The DDC called for regular monitoring and evaluation of ongoing projects to address issues promptly and improve overall outcomes.

 

ADC Poonch, GM DIC, Deputy Director Employment, Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, District Sericulture Officer, AD Tourism, AD Handloom, AD fisheries, AD Floriculture and other concerned officers were present.
