Budgam, October 26: A free mega health camp was organised at Multicare Polyclinic in Magam, Budgam district, by The Uplift Initiatives, a non-governmental organisation. The camp was attended by renowned neurologist Dr Sushil Razdan, who examined patients suffering from various neurological disorders and provided free medical consultations.

The primary objective of the camp was to provide specialised medical advice to patients suffering from neurological conditions and improve access to healthcare facilities for the general public.

During the camp, Dr Sushil Razdan examined patients with different neurological ailments and offered them free medical consultations. The initiative provided local residents with an opportunity to receive medical guidance from an experienced specialist, particularly benefiting those who face difficulties accessing specialised healthcare services.

On the occasion, Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Imtiaz Hussain welcomed Dr Sushil Razdan and appreciated his participation in the medical camp. Several other prominent personalities from the area were also present.

The speakers appreciated Dr Razdan’s medical services and emphasised the importance of collaboration between healthcare professionals and social organisations in addressing public health concerns. They observed that free medical camps play a significant role in helping people access specialised consultations while promoting health awareness at the grassroots level.

The organisers stressed the importance of raising public awareness about the early diagnosis of neurological disorders, appropriate medical advice and timely treatment. They said such initiatives encourage people to understand their health concerns and seek professional medical guidance without unnecessary delays.

The speakers also highlighted the need for greater cooperation among medical experts, voluntary organisations and local communities to extend healthcare services to people at the grassroots level. They noted that such welfare initiatives can make a meaningful contribution towards supporting underprivileged and needy patients.

People who attended the camp appreciated the initiative and expressed hope that similar free medical camps would be organised in the future to ensure that residents of Budgam and adjoining areas have better access to specialist doctors and quality medical advice.

At the conclusion of the programme, Kamran Hussain delivered the vote of thanks and expressed gratitude to Dr Sushil Razdan, DIG Imtiaz Hussain, the organisers and all those who contributed to the successful conduct of the camp. He expressed hope that such public welfare initiatives would continue in the future.
