Bandipora, Oct 23 (JKNS): The District Employment and Counselling Centre (DE&CC), Bandipora, has issued a public advisory cautioning applicants under Mission YUVA against middlemen and unauthorised persons demanding money or undue favours for facilitating applications, approvals or disbursement of benefits under the scheme.

In a circular issued on October 22, 2026, a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS, the department said applications under Mission YUVA are processed through the designated online portal in accordance with the prescribed procedure, urging applicants to follow the official process and seek assistance only from designated officials.

The advisory emphasised the need to remain vigilant against individuals who may attempt to exploit prospective beneficiaries by promising to facilitate the submission, processing, approval or release of benefits under the scheme in exchange for money.

The department further stated that any instance involving a demand for a bribe, fraudulent activity or the involvement of middlemen in the name of Mission YUVA should be brought to the immediate notice of the Assistant Director Employment, DE&CC Bandipora, for appropriate action under the applicable rules.

For assistance or clarification regarding the scheme, applicants have been advised to contact Abdul Rashid Malla, SBDU Lead Bandipora, at 7006230712; Zameer Ahmad, BHD Lead Sumbal, at 7889744504; Adnan Nisar, BHD Lead Bandipora, at 7006376449; and Ubaid Hussain, BHD Lead Gurez, at 6005707231.

The circular, issued by the Assistant Director Employment, DE&CC Bandipora, on October 22, aims to safeguard the interests of prospective beneficiaries and ensure transparency and effective implementation of Mission YUVA in the district.

The department has urged all concerned applicants to take note of the advisory and cooperate in ensuring that the scheme is implemented through the prescribed official channels. (JKNS)
