During the special enforcement drive, a total of 410 vehicles, including two-wheelers, were dealt with under traffic enforcement measures. Of these, 244 vehicles were challaned, while 166 vehicles were seized for various traffic violations.

The drive was aimed at ensuring strict adherence to traffic regulations, improving road discipline and enhancing the safety of commuters. The enforcement measures also serve as a deterrent against reckless driving and other violations that pose risks to road users.

Anantnag Police urges all motorists and two-wheeler riders to strictly follow traffic rules, carry valid driving licences and vehicle documents, wear helmets and seat belts, and avoid overspeeding and other unsafe practices.
