As per news agency JKNS, Acting on information from Lucknow Military Intelligence, Odisha Police launched a major crackdown against illegal Bangladeshi citizens. Two Bangladeshi women were intercepted and arrested in a covert operation in Behrampur while they were planning to run away to Bangalore. This action is being considered a significant success for security agencies.

Police investigations have revealed that all the arrested women were living in India without valid documents. They had been hiding in Bhubaneswar and other areas of Odisha for a long time. The investigation also revealed that these women used Indian names and forged documents to conceal their identities. This case is not only one of illegal migration, but also of identity concealment and misuse of documents.

According to police sources, fake Aadhaar cards, mobile phone and Bangladeshi IDs were recovered from these women. All of them were using these fake documents, made in Indian names, to evade the attention of the local administration and the public. Using these fake identities, they were not only living here but also engaging in various activities, which has raised concerns among security agencies.

Security agencies have also learned that these women were not limited to living illegally. Investigations have indicated that they may also be involved in some illegal and suspicious activities. While the full extent of these activities has not yet been revealed.

These women have been transferred to Athagarh Holding Centre and case has been registered by GRP, Behrampur. Security agencies are investigating the network in deliberate detail. (JKNS)
