Srinagar, Sept 30 (JKNS): A 35-year-old man was found dead inside his rented accommodation in the Alikadal area of Srinagar district on Wednesday, officials said.
An official told news agency JKNS that the man was found unconscious inside his rented accommodation in the Bodgair area of Alikadal.
He said police reached the spot, took the body into custody and shifted him to the hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Shakoor, 35, son of Gh Hussain, a resident of Thana Mandi, Rajouri.
Meanwhile, cognisance of the incident has been taken and further investigation is underway. (JKNS)
