PUNE, SEPTEMBER 28(JKNS): As part of the Indian Army’s capacity building initiative, a group of 20 Kashmiri girl students visited the National Defence Academy (NDA), Pune, providing them an opportunity to gain firsthand exposure to the country’s premier tri-services training institution.

During the visit, the students interacted with lady cadets and women officers and learned about the rigorous training, discipline, leadership and values imparted at the academy.

The cadets also shared their experiences of being part of the historic first co-educational batches at NDA, encouraging the visiting students to explore opportunities and careers in the Armed Forces.

The educational tour aimed at empowering young girls from Kashmir by broadening their horizons, providing exposure to prestigious national institutions and inspiring them to pursue diverse career opportunities.

The initiative also sought to promote confidence, leadership and a deeper understanding of national unity and service to the nation.(JKNS)
