Srinagar, Sept 27 (JKNS): On World Tourism Day, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah extended a warm invitation to travellers from across the country and the world to experience the natural beauty, diverse attractions and hospitality of Jammu & Kashmir.
In a post on X, as per news agency JKNS, the Chief Minister said J&K, with its pristine peaks, serene lakes and lush valleys, offers diverse tourism experiences, including adventure sports, leisure retreats, pilgrimage circuits, MICE facilities, wedding destinations, unexplored treks and film locations.
CM Omar Abdullah reaffirmed the government’s commitment to strengthening tourism infrastructure and promoting sustainable eco-tourism, while ensuring that local youth and J&K’s rich cultural traditions remain at the centre of the hospitality sector.
He welcomed visitors to Jammu & Kashmir and urged them to explore the region and create cherished memories. (JKNS)
