Srinagar, Sept 20 (JKNS): Renowned vocalist, music composer and cultural promoter Ustaad Waheed Jeelani presented his paper titled “Art, Culture & Sustainability” at the prestigious Global Leaders Conference on Sustainability, Srinagar 2026, organised by EDUFAM International Academy, UAE.
Invited as a Speaker and Guest of Honour, Jeelani, through his paper, highlighted the significant role of art and culture in preserving heritage, strengthening social harmony and contributing meaningfully towards a sustainable future. He also underlined the importance of involving younger generations in carrying forward cultural values while responding to contemporary challenges of sustainability.
In recognition of his contribution to art and culture, Ustaad Waheed Jeelani was also felicitated and honoured on the occasion. The recognition marked a significant moment at the conference and acknowledged his continued efforts towards promoting art, culture and heritage.
