Srinagar, Sept 8 (JKNS): President Droupadi Murmu has appointed Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh Vinai Kumar Saxena to discharge the functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir during the absence of LG Manoj Sinha, who has proceeded on leave.
As per news agency JKNS, The arrangement will remain in force during the period of Sinha’s absence, according to the presidential order.
Saxena, who is presently serving as the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, will discharge the functions of the J&K Lieutenant Governor in addition to his existing responsibilities. (JKNS)
