KUPWARA, SEPTEMBER 9(JKNS): The District Development Commissioner (DDC), Kupwara, Shrikant Suse today convened a review meeting at the Conference Hall of the Government Medical College (GMC), Handwara, to review the implementation and progress of UT Capex, Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) and other developmental programmes at GMC Handwara.
The meeting was attended by the Principal GMC Handwara, Additional Deputy Commissioner Handwara, senior officers of KPDCL, R&B, Mechanical & Hospital, STD, PHE, JK Housing Board,and Executive Officer, Municipal Council Handwara, besides other concerned officers.
During the meeting, the DDC reviewed the latest status and progress of various ongoing developmental works and projects associated with GMC Handwara. The concerned departments were directed to ensure close coordination and timely completion of the ongoing works as per prescribed timelines and quality standards.
The Principal GMC Handwara presented a detailed PowerPoint presentation highlighting the latest progress achieved under UT Capex, CSS and other developmental programmes, along with other agenda items.
The DDC stressed upon all concerned officers to maintain close coordination, expedite the implementation of ongoing projects and ensure effective utilization of funds so that the intended benefits of these developmental initiatives reach the people at the earliest.
The DDC also called for regular monitoring of the projects and timely resolution of bottlenecks, wherever encountered.(JKNS)
