Budgam, September 8: A grand religious conference on the theme “Azmat-e-Mustafa ﷺ” (Glory and Reverence of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ) was organised by Tehreek-e-Saut-ul-Auliya in the Sugan Khag area of Budgam district. Hundreds of people from Sugan Khag and adjoining areas participated in the conference.
The gathering remained immersed in an atmosphere of devotion, religious fervour, and recitation of Durood-o-Salam throughout the programme.
Prominent religious personalities, including Maulana Bilal Ahmad Kumar and Syed Hamid Rizvi, attended the conference as special guests. In their addresses, the speakers shed detailed light on the blessed life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and emphasised the importance of love, devotion, and respect for the Holy Prophet ﷺ.
The speakers said that the teachings of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ convey a universal message of peace, love, brotherhood, tolerance, and harmony. They urged people to incorporate the teachings of the Prophet ﷺ into their daily lives and work towards promoting love, patience, mutual respect, and harmony in society.
Special emphasis was also laid on the need for unity, peace, communal harmony, and social cohesion. The speakers said that all sections of society must play a positive role in strengthening peace and brotherhood.
During the conference, participants expressed their deep religious devotion and respect by offering Durood-o-Salam in praise of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
The programme concluded with special prayers for peace, prosperity, development, and the safety and well-being of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
