Srinagar, Sept 4 (JKNS): Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Sujit Kumar Singh and Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Anshul Garg on Friday extended warm greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami.
As per news agency JKNS, IGP Kashmir Sujit Kumar Singh conveyed his greetings to people celebrating the festival and prayed that the occasion would inspire society towards peace, prosperity, unity and harmony.
“May this occasion guide us towards peace, prosperity, unity and harmony,” IGP Kashmir said in his message.
Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Anshul Garg also extended warm greetings and best wishes to the people of Kashmir and all those celebrating the sacred festival of Janmashtami.
In his message, the Divisional Commissioner said the divine teachings of Bhagwan Shri Krishna inspire people to uphold truth, righteousness, compassion and harmony, while strengthening the bonds of peace and brotherhood in society.
He also offered prayers for peace, prosperity and communal harmony on the pious occasion. (JKNS)
