Srinagar, Sept 1 (JKNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Tuesday ordered the transfer and posting of two officers to key administrative positions with immediate effect, as part of the latest administrative reshuffle.
According to Government Order No. 1464-JK(GAD) of 2026, a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS stated that, Mir Afroz, who was awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department, has been posted as Member, J&K Special Tribunal, with immediate effect.
In a separate Government Order No. 1466-JK(GAD) of 2026, Tariq Ahmad Kakroo, General Manager (Operations), J&K Tourism Development Corporation (JKTDC), has been transferred and posted as Secretary, J&K Advisory Board for Development of Other Backward Classes.
Both orders, issued by the General Administration Department (Services) on September 1, 2026, state that the officers shall be deemed to have been relieved immediately from their respective places of posting.
The orders have been issued by M. Raju, IAS, Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, in the interest of administration. (JKNS)
