Budgam, September 2: The long-awaited blacktopping of the Patal Bagh link road in Budgam has been completed by the Public Works Department (PWD), bringing much-needed relief to local residents and commuters.
The link road connects the main highway with Patal Bagh village and serves as a vital transportation route for the local population. Residents welcomed the completion of the project and expressed satisfaction over the improved road connectivity.
Locals appreciated the quality of work carried out by the contractor, describing it as a positive step towards strengthening road infrastructure in the area. They also thanked the officials of the Public Works Department for their supervision and support in ensuring the successful completion of the project.
According to local residents, the newly blacktopped road will provide safer and smoother travel for pedestrians, motorists, and commuters. They noted that the improved road will be especially beneficial during adverse weather conditions, when reliable connectivity becomes even more important.
The residents also expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the District Administration Budgam for fulfilling their long-pending demand and facilitating the completion of the project.
They urged the concerned authorities to continue prioritizing the construction, upgradation, improvement, and regular maintenance of roads and other essential infrastructure across the rural areas of Budgam district.
