Srinagar, Aug 27 (JKNS): Police registered an FIR after shopkeepers were found obstructing the road at Jehangir Chowk by placing matting material outside their shops during routine patrolling.
An official told news agency JKNS that, During the routine patrol, officials observed that the material had encroached upon the road space, causing obstruction to the smooth movement of the general public and vehicles.
Taking note of the obstruction and the potential safety hazard, police registered an FIR in the matter.
Further legal proceedings are underway. (JKNS)
