Udhampur, July 29 (JKNS): A 40-year-old woman allegedly died due to electrocution in the Majalta area of Udhampur district on Tuesday, officials said.
Officials told news agency JKNS that Sushma Devi (40), wife of Sukhdev Singh and a resident of Peoni village in Tehsil Majalta, sustained an electric shock and was found dead.
They said the body has been taken into custody by Police Station Majalta, while legal formalities have been initiated.
Police have started proceedings to ascertain the exact circumstances surrounding the incident. (JKNS)
