The demolition drive was carried out in the Parnewa and Arigam areas in the presence of revenue and police officials.

During the operation, authorities demolished three structures comprising four shops, a cowshed, and a tile factory, all allegedly linked to individuals involved in drug peddling.

The action forms part of the sustained efforts by the District Administration and District Police to dismantle illegally acquired assets associated with the narcotics trade and to curb the spread of drugs in the district.

The District Administration reiterated its commitment to continuing strict action against drug peddlers and removing all illegal assets connected with narcotics-related activities, reaffirming its resolve to make Budgam drug-free. (JKNS)
