Rajouri, July 10 (JKNS): A 68-year-old man was killed after being attacked by a bear in the upper reaches of Darhal area in Rajouri district on Friday, officials said.
An official told news agency JKNS that, The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Amin (68), son of Ali Mohammad, a resident of Dhok Jangwala, Panj Katha.
They said the incident occurred when the elderly man was in the upper reaches of Darhal. He sustained grievous injuries in the bear attack and died on the spot before any help could reach him.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident, and further investigation initiated. (JKNS)
