Beerwah, July 7 (JKNS): The Bar Association Beerwah has reiterated its firm demand that the proposed NH-701A Highway should be aligned through the existing main road of Beerwah, asserting that the existing alignment is the lifeline of the town and is vital for the growth of local businesses, economic development, and public convenience.

In a press statement issued on Monday, the Association strongly opposed any proposal to divert the highway away from the existing main road. It stated that such a move would adversely affect the commercial interests of Beerwah and hamper the town’s overall development.

It also pledged to stand firmly with the public and pursue the matter through lawful and democratic means. (JKNS)
