NATF Holds Protest Outside UN Office in Jammu Over Human Rights Violations in POJK

Jammu, July 1 (JKNS): The National Anti-Terrorism Front (NATF) held a peaceful protest outside the United Nations Office in Jammu to draw attention to the reported human rights and humanitarian situation in Pakistan-Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (POJK).

The protest was led by National Chairman Vishal Chopra and witnessed the participation of senior office-bearers and members of the organisation.

Among those leading the demonstration were Abhishek Kapoor, Varinder Mahajan, Harish Raina, Nigam Chopra, Anshuman Chopra, Gurmeet Dutta, Er. Arshad Khan, Rabia Khajuria, Kamla Sharma, Shakeel Bhagat, Ravinder Sharma, Sanjeev Chadha, Akshay Tak, Advocate Bhageshawar Khajuria, Vicky Katria, Ranjeet Kumar, Chadha Ji, Prince Behal, Ankit Gupta, Puneet Bhola, Ritish Arora, and many other NATF members.

 

According to NATF, the protest aimed to urge the United Nations to take note of the reported human rights concerns in POJK, ensure the protection of civilians, and encourage an independent, impartial, and credible assessment of the situation.

 

The organisation stated that the demonstration was peaceful and conducted in accordance with the law. NATF reiterated its commitment to peace, justice, democracy, and the protection of human rights while urging the international community to take appropriate humanitarian and diplomatic initiatives regarding the reported situation in the region.
