LG, CM Express Grief Over Fatal Doda Road Accident; Assure Support to Victims’ Families

Jammu, Jun 25 (JKNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday expressed deep grief over the tragic road accident near Khellani Tunnel in Doda district that claimed three lives and left two others injured.

In a statement, as per news agency JKNS, the Lieutenant Governor expressed anguish over the loss of precious lives in the accident and extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the mishap.

The Lieutenant Governor directed senior officials to ensure all possible support and assistance to the affected families and those undergoing treatment.

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah also expressed profound sorrow over the accident, describing it as a tragic loss of lives.

He conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families and assured that the injured persons would receive the best possible medical treatment.

The accident occurred near Khellani Tunnel in Doda district, where a passenger vehicle met with a fatal accident, resulting in three deaths and injuries to two others. (JKNS)
