Pattan, June 12: The All Jammu & Kashmir Shia Association (AJKSA) successfully organized a two-day Majlis-e-Hussaini at the revered Astan-e-Aliya of Hazrat Syed Mohammad Ardebeli (R.A.) in Habak Arampora, Pattan. The religious congregation witnessed the participation of thousands of devotees from different parts of Jammu and Kashmir.

Renowned Zakireen and Islamic scholars addressed the gatherings on Thursday and Friday, reciting marsiya and shedding light on the teachings of Ahlul Bayt (A.S.). They emphasized the values of faith, sacrifice, justice, patience, and steadfastness in the face of oppression.

On Friday, AJKSA President Molvi Imran Reza Ansari delivered the concluding Majlis-e-Aza. In his address, he highlighted the significance of Eid-e-Mubahila, recalling the historic event in which the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) presented his Ahlul Bayt (A.S.) as the embodiment of truth, purity, and righteousness.

Drawing a connection between the spirit of Eid-e-Mubahila and the approaching month of Muharram, Molvi Ansari stated that Islam has been preserved and strengthened through sacrifice—from the mission of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and his Ahlul Bayt (A.S.) to the unparalleled sacrifice of Imam Hussain (A.S.) and his companions in Karbala. He stressed that Muharram serves as a timeless reminder of the struggle between truth and falsehood and calls upon believers to stand firmly for justice, dignity, and moral values.

Paying tribute to the martyrs of the resistance movement, Molvi Ansari remembered Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Hosseini Khamenei and other martyrs who, he said, remained steadfast in the face of oppression and injustice. He noted that their sacrifices continue to inspire millions around the world in their pursuit of freedom, dignity, and resistance against tyranny.

Special prayers were offered for peace, stability, and prosperity in Lebanon, Palestine, and other regions affected by conflict and hardship. The gathering concluded with collective supplications for unity among Muslims and the successful observance of the forthcoming Muharram commemorations.

The organizers expressed gratitude to the scholars, volunteers, and devotees whose participation contributed to the success of the two-day religious event.
