Srinagar, June 12 (JKNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday ordered a fresh reshuffle in the administration, transferring and posting six JKAS officers, including the appointment of a Deputy Secretary and four Under Secretaries in the Home Department.

As per Government Order No. 1078-JK(GAD) of 2026 dated June 12, issued by the General Administration Department, as per news agency JKNS, the transfers and postings have been made with immediate effect in the interest of administration.

According to the order, Ms. Akanksha Kalsotra, JKAS, presently serving as Program and Coordination Executive in the Directorate of Information, J&K, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary to the Government, Home Department.

Mr. Tariq Ahmad Sheikh, Junior Scale JKAS and Assistant Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Baramulla, has been transferred and posted as Under Secretary to the Government, Home Department.

Mr. Pulkit Dutta, Junior Scale JKAS, serving as Under Secretary in the J&K Services Selection Board, has also been transferred and posted as Under Secretary to the Government, Home Department.

Similarly, Mr. Sumit Suri, Junior Scale JKAS and CDPO Khour, and Mr. Ajay Singh, Junior Scale JKAS and Block Development Officer Duggain, have been posted as Under Secretaries in the Home Department.

Meanwhile, Mr. Monish Kumar, JKAS, presently Under Secretary to the Government, Home Department, has been transferred and directed to await further orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department. (JKNS)
