Details available with news agency JKNS stated that the deceased has been identified as Tahseen Shabir Raina, son of Shabir Ahmad Raina, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Sopore, and a resident of Kanir Chadoora, Budgam.

Tahseen was a second-year Veterinary Science student at SKUAST. He reportedly suffered a suspected cardiac arrest at his rented accommodation located at Al Samad Complex, opposite SKUAST University, Shuhama.

He was shifted for medical attention; however, he could not be revived, officials said.
