Bhaderwah, Jun 5 (JKNS): Four persons from Pathankot were injured after a car they were travelling in reportedly plunged into a river near Nalthi Park in the Bhaderwah area of Doda district on Friday afternoon, officials said.

Officials told news agency JKNS that the accident took place at around 3:00 PM when a car bearing registration number PB35AQ9445 met with an accident near Nalthi, resulting in the vehicle falling into the river.

Soon after the incident, rescue teams and locals rushed to the spot and rescued all four occupants from the vehicle. The injured were shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Bhaderwah for medical treatment.

The injured have been identified as, all residents of Pathankot, Punjab.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and further investigation is underway to ascertain the cause of the accident. (JKNS)
